Capturing bases is done by killing all the generals and captains in the surrounding area and affects battle dynamics – the more bases you capture, the stronger your army will be. In Samurai Warriors 2: Empires, the core gameplay takes place on a battlefield where you take control of a warrior in the third-person view.
